C/R Workshops (available without Service Proposals)

School systems can also contract for specific workshops and trainers' training without a program development proposal for the following workshop material:

Training Options:

  • ”Developing Effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)” based on The Source Book, 3rd Edition: IDEA & 504 Behavior Intervention Plans for Students with Behavior Problems.  Crane/Reynolds, Inc. provides three (3) options for training your staff in Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Please review the following information to see which option is best for your system:

    • BIP Option 1: One-day Inservice training - Workshop information is based upon the IDEA 2004 regulations for BIPs, 504 regulations and suggested BIP components.  Areas addressed include:  FBAs, Annual IEP goals/benchmarks, short term objectives (if needed), target behaviors for Classroom Management Plans, Classroom Management Plans and individualized discipline options. Information includes resources for structuring information-gathering, suggested procedures for designing each BIP component and  sample forms to structure the development of BIP components.  Participants develop all components of the BIP based on assesssment and information in the student's audit folder. The forms are released for modification at no charge to the school system.

    • BIP Option 2: Two-day Inservice training - Workshop information is provided to two separate audiences:  (1) Participants to be trained in the BIP Workshop and (2) the Administrators and support staff involved in policy and procedure information. 1.5 days of the in-service are provided to the participants to be trained in the BIP workshop, addressing the information in Option 1 coupled with more intensive training in developing discipline options for individual students and campuses. The second half of day 2 is directed to Administrators and support staff who are involved in development of procedures and forms for developing effective BIPs. C/R, Inc. will review current forms, discuss possible modifications and help develop procedures and forms with staff using C/R's BIP procedure and form prototypes.

    • BIP Option 3: Trainers Training with Options 1 or 2 – Adds  1 day of Trainers Training in the BIP Workshop. For school systems who are interested in adopting Crane/Reynolds workshop materials for on-going staff training, we suggest that the school system designate personnel to become trainers. Trainers training provides scripts, presentation materials, handouts, and presentation skills.

Social Skills Series Materials Price List: Materials are not included in the workshop fee and must be purchased separately. Curriculum and workbook costs will be made available when revisions are completed.
